One Thousand Museum

Designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, this majestic tower is distinguished by its visually dynamic, futuristic design soaring high above the Miami skyline.

SBI Consultants furnished Technical and Advisory solutions to our Client to create One Thousand Museum, an ultra-luxury condominium located on Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida. Designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, the city landmark is distinguished by its visually dynamic, futuristic design soaring high above the Miami skyline.

Recognized as one of the world’s most complex engineering projects, the 62-story superstructure is supported by a fiberglass-reinforced concrete exoskeleton wrapped around the glass façade with breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The tower has 84 residential units, including 10 full-floor penthouses, 70 half-floor units and 4 duplex apartments. Amenities include a first-floor drive court and retail area, 6-story parking lot, fitness center, outdoor pool, spa, sky lobby, aqua center and rooftop helipad.

SBI’s involvement in this ambitious project began when the building’s superstructure and envelope were already complete, fitout and sitework were nearing completion, and punchlist and closeout were ongoing. SBI provided due diligence services including a review of the project’s completion status, budget, anticipated cost and timing to complete the remaining work items. SBI engineers collaborated closely with the project team, and offered guidance to successfully manage project completion and closeout.

Today, One Thousand Museum reflects the global sophistication of Miami, offering cosmopolitan luxury living and a dramatic visual experience to residents and visitors.
