White Plains Hospital – Outpatient Care Pavilion

White Plains Hospital is engaged in an ambitious modernization and renovation of its 32-acre campus in White Plains, New York to become the premier health and wellness center in the region. The next phase of this campus renewal is the construction of the Outpatient Care Pavilion, a transformative environment that reflects WPH’s vibrancy, growth and continual dedication to superb health care.

SBI Consultants is proud to provide Technical and Advisory solutions to WPH for the construction of the Pavilion, a nine-story, 252,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility that will provide patients with a single destination to receive a comprehensive range of advanced ambulatory and specialty care services. The sustainably designed Pavilion will be filled with natural light and open spaces that replicate the warm and welcoming atmosphere of WPH’s other recently updated facilities. Conveniently located next to the WPH’s Center for Cancer Care, the Pavilion will have bridge connectivity to the main hospital, allowing patients seamless access between both buildings.
In coordination with WPH and the project team, SBI is applying its extensive expertise in cost engineering, risk management, constructability and value engineering during the design, estimating and procurement phases of this milestone project to ensure budget certainty and the implementation of efficient procurement and construction processes. To achieve these objectives, SBI is identifying the project’s variables and vulnerabilities; developing key controls and processes to monitor progress; recommending contractual controls; assessing the project’s process and progress; and delivering objective data in ongoing reports.
SBI will provide meticulous data analysis through the development of the GMP document, and will continue to provide cost management during the construction phase.
