Designed for the metropolitan adventurer, Parq Vancouver is an entertainment and hospitality venue in Vancouver, BC, located near BC Place Stadium and Rogers Arena.  SBI Consultants was retained by the equity partners to provide Leadership and Technical Solutions for the boutique resort that integrates with the city’s rustic surroundings and vibrant downtown.


Constructed on unused and challenging terrain, the six-story, 775,000 sq. ft. tower includes a casino, two luxury hotels, eight restaurants, spa, fitness studio, lounges, conference center, and a 30,000 sq. ft. outdoor urban park with native trees located six floors above street level with views of the city skyline. Pedestrian walkways lead from the resort directly to the neighboring BC Place Stadium.

SBI’s role in this assignment involved working as an integral member of the project team and supporting the client with project oversight and cost management services. During the initial assessment phase, SBI performed an in-depth evaluation of the project status and advised the team of “on time and on budget risks” to project delivery. Throughout the construction phase, SBI provided ongoing management of project parameters including productivity, cash flow, milestones and other critical items established during the initial assessment phase.  On a regular basis, SBI engineers conducted site visits and provided written narratives of findings and recommendations.

SBI’s leadership and technical solutions enabled our client to make informed financial decisions by continuously identifying risks and opportunities.  The successfully completed Parq Vancouver has become the region’s social and commercial hub, harmoniously blending with Vancouver’s majestic destinations and cityscapes.
